Adding Participants to your legal project is a key part of getting set up properly. Depending on the structure you’ve chosen you will likely need to add Users to both the Portfolio and Matter(s). You will also need to assign them a permissions role based on what you want them to achieve.

Before you can do this you need to ensure those Users are set up within your Fibonacci server.

Creating a new User

If you’re an Admin you can set up a new user by following these steps:

  1. Click on Users in the left-hand Navigation Menu

  2. Click on “+Create User” in the top right of the User Index

  3. Input the required User information:

    1. First and Last Names

    2. Role

    3. Organisation - if the new User is not from your organisation then you will need to ensure that their organisation is setup first.

    4. Email

  4. Click “Create” and the new User will receive an instant notification that you have invited them to join the Fibonacci platform.

Note - You don’t need to add a profile picture for the new user, they can do this when they log in.

Managing Users' access to your Portfolio and/or Matter(s)

There are two ways to add/manage Users to your Portfolio or Matter(s):

  1. When you create a new Portfolio or Matter you can select the Users you want to add as Participants; or

  2. After you have created your Portfolio or Matter(s) you can manage Users as Participants through the Manage Portfolio and Manage Matters menus.
