If you’ve got a lot of Matters setup in your Portfolio and you need an efficient way to manage the Participants on them then follow these steps:
Click on Manage Portfolio at the top right of the Portfolio Overview
Select the Invited Members section from the left-side menu
Review these options and select the one you need:
Adding a new Participant
enter their name, select their Permissions and click “Add”.
select the Matter(s) in the Portfolio, together with the User’s Permissions and click “Invite”
the Participant will get a notification immediately.
Inviting an existing Participant to a Matter(s)
click on the downward arrow next to the User’s name and select “Invite to Matters”
select the Matter(s), together with the User’s Permissions and click “Invite”.
the Participant will get a notification immediately.
Amending an existing Participant’s Permissions
click on the downward arrow next to the User’s name and select “Change permissions on matters”
amend the User’s Permissions for each Matter as required and click “Save changes”
Because the User is already a Participant on the Matters they will not receive any notifications.
Removing an existing Participant
click on the downward arrow next to the User’s name and select “Remove Access”
select the Matter(s) and click “Remove Access”
the User will no longer be able to see the Matters and/or Portfolio which you’ve removed them from.
