We know from user feedback and personal experience that when managing projects with a large number of tasks, the current views the blueprint offers do not allow to view & manage tasks easily. To remedy this, we’ve created a new list view for the blueprint view which offers many benefits.

1. Easier navigation & better visibility

Using the blueprint list view, you will see:

  • More tasks visible on your screen with tasks being presented as lines rather than cards

  • Deliverables as lines within their workstream removing the need to scroll horizontally

Without having to open your task’s right-hand panel, hovering over the specific icons will show you any:

  • task dependencies,

  • linked documents or

  • comments for each task.

2. Faster editing of tasks

a. Edit tasks directly inline

Hovering over the tasks will show you a tooltip that can be clicked on to edit a function, allowing for faster edits.

b. Bulk editing of tasks

To select tasks, simply click on the checkbox to the left of a task line. You can select all the tasks within a deliverable or workstream by selecting it.

The bulk edit header will show whenever multiple tasks are selected and from there you can edit assignees, status, dates, priority, dependencies, reminders, and linked documents, or delete all the selected tasks.

This will considerably speed up the workflow of editing multiple tasks, when a project plan is being built for example or when assignees need to be changed on a lot of tasks.
