Enabling the document editor

The document editor can be enabled by the Fibonacci Support team. Please reach out to us via Intercom to submit a request to turn on the document editor for a Portfolio.

Open the document editor

To edit a document, click on the menu item by clicking the three dots in the top right-hand corner and select "edit and check-out". Alternatively, click check-out and from the pop-up select "edit and check-out".

Editing the document

Once the document editor is opened, you can start editing the document directly, add comments and accept tracked changes.

By default, track changes are on for all documents. You can disable them by clicking the icon at the bottom of the editor (as shown on the video below at 00:25).

Checking the document back-in

Once your edits are complete and you're ready to check the document back in, simply click the "Save and Check-in" option at the top. This will save your changes, check the document back with a newly created version (as shown on the video below at 00:56)

Save as draft

If you want to save the edits you've made on a document, you can click the "Save as draft" option below the "Save and Check-in" option. This will save a draft version of the document only visible to yourself. Please note that the document will stay checked out.
